Altec N604-8A crossover component values

Does anyone know what size the inductors and caps are in the Altec N604-8A crossover? Looks like 2 each of the same size cap and 2 each of the same size inductor. If its like my other Altec crossovers it will mirror what the component calculator recommends, 1.2mh inductors and around 9.1uf caps

Altec never made a crossover by that model number, AFAIK. That's the first GPA 604 network AFAIK.

I'm gonna guess you're asking about a 604-8G/Stonehenge III/model 17(33315) network like you have pictured. Sorry, that's one network i don't have anything on. They're so short of what a 604 really needs, i don't think most folks even bother with them.

EDIT: did a little sleuthing and it's surprising to find an absence of a circuit drawing with component values for these networks. I wonder if they aren't essentially an N1500 with component values scaled for ~8ohm drivers??????

Yup you are right Tom. I was looking at two different things and got my numbers confused. I want to know what they used in these crossovers. "Dividing network for the 604-8G". Guess that is their model number

I've owned those networks identified 3 ways at one time or another, model seventeen on the foilcal, stonehenge III on the foilcal, and 604-8G on the foilcal. All the same network.

Not that it's relevant, back in the day, circa 1978, my older brother bought new seventeens, one had a model seventeen badged network, and the mate had a stonehenge III badged network. The networks themselves were identical. But, the seventeen with the stonehenge III network had lighter gauge internal wiring. This was a brand new pair.

Its crazy how much variation there is even in "matched pairs". It drives me nuts when both sides don't match

. Like I would have to change the wiring on the lighter gauge xover to match the other one

Its interesting to look at the component differences between the Markwart xovers and the stock Altec. They share two of the capacitor values. The other cap and both inductors are different values though. From what I have read the Markwart's xover has more of a spread around the xover point. I am leaning towards building those
